Come 'on British Columbians! Get a grip on REALITY! These 2 parties
will bankrupt and have almost bankrupted this Province.
Let’s look at Gordon Campbell and the VANOC Liberals record:
- Hundreds of millions of dollars ($100,000,000’s) in cost overruns on
the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre!
- Several hundreds of millions of dollars ($100,000,000’s) in cost
overruns on the fiscally irresponsible Vancouver MILLENIUM project!
- Infrastructure projects (GATEWAY) that the Province cannot afford
and in several cases does not need which will spiral into more
millions of cost overruns!
- An out-of-control lower mainland Transit System that has become
increasingly cost negative and has put out of business or bankrupted
numerous small business owners along Cambie Street in Vancouver.
- A Carbon Tax that is neither needed nor wanted and is just another
theft of our hard-earned money.
- A 2010 legacy that has yet to answer one question. How much will it
cost? A legacy that is sure to outstrip the big “O” in Montreal,
Quebec and cost the taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars
($100,000,000’s) for the next 30 years. Gordon Campbell and VANOC
are truly our very homegrown Jean Drapeau! This travesty is turning
out to be nothing more than a 14 day lavish party for the chosen
Glitterati, Corporate Welfare Bums and hangers-on, leaving the BC
taxpayer to pick up the tab for now and forever!
- Vancouver’s loss, Seattle’s gain, the cruise ship business sailing
out of Vancouver because of the 2010 Tazer Gun security that is
planned for the City.
- Their biggest legacy of all; the ill-fated Fast Ferry Scandal (FastCat
Fiasco) that cost British Columbia over five hundred million dollars
($500,000,000)!
- Their Bingo Gate and Casino Gate! Nanaimo became a corrupt haven for
their loose moves!
- Their incessant shoveling of taxpayer money to their Union Masters!
- Their “fudge-it budgets” over 10 long years of agony for British
Columbia.
- Their always “Higher Taxes” on almost everything to pay for their
mindless Social Schemes!
- Treaties with natives that will eventually cost the real hard
working British Columbians so much more!
- These “Barbarians” are ready to storm the gates once again, and this
time they will bankrupt the Province because their Union Taskmasters
will more then let them do it!
British Columbia, it is time to wake up and smell the roses. Neither of these political parties is good for you or your livelihood. A vote for either of them is a hand in your pocket for the next very long 4 years. Once they are in as a majority you cannot get them out.
You ask what can I do with my vote ? There are three things you can do:1. Vote for the up and reborn Conservative Party.
2. Vote for the fledgling Green Party.
3. Mark your ballot as a Protest Vote for no one.
The politicians of all sorry stripes are definitely afraid of putting on the ballot “None Of The Above” for it will truly show what we the voters think of them.
We truly need a minority Government in British Columbia to rein-in the mistakes of the past and give everyone in the Province a chance to get ahead and succeed. What we don’t need are politicians (most of which could never make it in the Real World) looking for an easy paycheque for the next 4 years and a fat pension when we finally get them out.
